The Cubit Steel not only has a hexagonal glass lens and a 3-Dimensional hexagonal dial, but a date feature in a diagonal diamond window that would be located at the 4 o’clock position. However, there are no markings at all on the Cubit Steel. The bezel and dial are made for each other, with the hexagonal cutout meeting each other at the inner rim. The hour, minute, and second hands are gray/steel, black, and white colored (respectively), and look fantastic on this blank timepiece. While the dial contains no numbers aside from the date of the month in that small diamond-shaped window, you never feel like time is lost on you. The shape of the3-D hexagonal dial face and glass lens situates itself in such a way that it allows you to tell time intuitively.

In addition, the fixed bezel is something special. The brushed stainless steel bezel’s interior that meets the outer rim of the dial is cut into the shape of the dial’s hexagon. This men’s watch is great because it tells time using easy to read light-up green bars running vertically down the long, rectangular watch face.

Rather than a dial or dial hands, you have a piece of technology that is not a smartwatch, not a traditional digital readout, and anything but boring. It is also subtle, so you do not have a ton of lights or distracting features that you do not need. In essence, it is quite a simple and elegant piece of non-traditional watchmaking.

This futuristic design is complemented by the unusual LED time display. The band and case are both made from a high grade stainless steel. The design is not bulky and looks very masculine. The 28 LEDs that illuminate in sequence on two rows (the left features the hours and the right features the minutes) are easy to read with the small indicators right next to the Arabic numerals listed on these two vertical columns. As the minutes elapse, the corresponding LEDs illuminate against a Sapphire-bl. Dial, which ensures a brilliant but subtle presentation every 60 seconds.
