The Good
The design is obviously one of the best aspects of this watch. The all-silver design, bar the black and white Tachymeter bezel, is fantastically complementary to all other components of this piece.
The bracelet is made of a silver stainless steel that is polished and features a secure deployment clasp. This bracelet matches the 46mm stainless steel case perfectly and complements the silver dial as well.
The dial itself has three dimensional stick indices indicating the hour, with small black dots above each index at the outer rim. With black markings showing the seconds and milliseconds along the dial and Tachymeter markings on the black bezel, this watch is both extravagant but not overly cluttered.
With three silver subdials located at the 3, 6, and 9 o’clock positions, one of these subdials is used for the Chronograph function, and another is a 24 hour clock.
The Bad
As a part of the Sportiva Collection, it would have been nice to see a better water resistance rating — perhaps 100 meters or more. For the price, it would have been possible since the manufacturer opted for hardened mineral crystal (as opposed to Sapphire), a Quartz movement (as opposed to an automatic), and an all-stainless steel construction.
Functionality
The functionality of this silver-on-silver analog men’s timepiece by Emporio Armani is quite excellent. The Quartz movement is of high quality and is very precise — which it needs to be, seeing as this timepiece features an hour, minute, and second main dial in addition to three subdials, one of which acts as the Chronograph function. In addition, between the four and five o’clock positions lies a diagonal calendar window. Applied to the black bezel is a Tachymeter, etched in white markings, dots, and Arabic numerals.
The Chronograph and Tachymeter functions reportedly work very well and the subdials are precise. With an all silver dial, including silver hands, subdials, calendar window, hour indexes, as well as a silver stainless steel case, push buttons, crown, case backing, and bracelet, this nearly all-silver timepiece shines with beauty and functionality.
The hour and minute hands feature luminous fill, which offer a sophisticated glow when reading the time at night. Keeping the dial safe is a hardened mineral crystal that is scratch resistant and durable.
With a 50 meter water resistance, you can do a lot with this watch and not worry about ruining it. It is not recommended that you swim or shower with this watch on — but it will withstand accidental drops in water, rain, and hand washing.

Emporio Armani made the right move in adding a Quartz movement to this piece. This long-lasting movement keeps the price down while offering outstanding quality in design and components.
The silver design is simply the epitome of a classic men’s watch and will look right at home on any man’s wrist. The 46mm case size means that it is larger than most watches like this. It will be impossible to miss as it takes up so much real estate, but it does so in such a sophisticated way that it is impressive.
The subdials, including a Chronograph, are silver with silver subdial hands, and blend into the design rather than stand out.
This timepiece can tell relative time (via Chronograph), hour, minutes, seconds, the date of the month, 12 hour, 24 hour, and more with additional subdials — not to mention a Tachymeter is engraved into the bezel.
