Power Source
This S1 Rally uses a Japanese Quartz movement, caliber VD54. With components and assembly in Japan, this is an excellent movement by the vendor, SII, and is known for its quality, longevity, and precision timekeeping.
The Good
This S1 Rally is a very attractive timepiece — the metal white dial is complemented perfectly by the gold-tone of the Arabic hour numerals, accent dots, subdials, and gold-tone hour and subdial hands. So many watches look the same these days — but not this S1 Rally. With it’s unique dial and a nearly-oversized stainless steel case measuring in at 48mm, this watch is large and classic.
In addition, the brown leather strap is Rally-designed, with a series of holes running through the length of the strap on each side. The added white stitching brings the eye back to the white dial and masculine design.
One of the more unusual parts of this Invicta is its above-average water resistance rating. Most watches in this price range may offer 30 meters in W/R; however, this S1 Rally has a 100 meter / 330 feet water resistance, which is perfect for using this watch casually, outdoors, camping, on the lake, showering, and so forth.
The Japanese Quartz movement is also powerful, made of excellent quality, and will last for some time before needing to be replaced.
The Bad
At this price, it is difficult to pick out any particular feature that I dislike or believe should be better. Invicta did a great job in constructing a solid timepiece with as many functions and features as possible, along with quality materials such as mineral crystal, leather, and polished stainless steel.
If I were to choose something I believe this watch is missing is a calendar date window.
Functionality
The functionality of this S1 Rally is more complicated than at first glance. The dial face has a design that makes it look very open and uncomplicated. However, there are many features and functions this watch offers.
While it has the main hour, minute, and seconds hand in gold-tone, dial also features three subdials: a chronograph 60 second; a 60 minute subdial; and a 24 hour subdial. It also has a Tachymeter on the outer ring of the chronograph subdial.

Highlights
The polished stainless steel case, bezel, crown, and push buttons look spectacular, and protected by a mineral crystal and a solid stainless steel backing, this Invicta is very well constructed and is water resistant up to 100 meters (330 feet). That is excellent in a timepiece in this price range.
The brown leather Rally strap really sets this design apart from others — the bold statement pays tribute to the racing scene and the design continues on the dial face.
The combination of white, gold-tone, and polished stainless steel give this watch a look that is sports-like as well as casual. You can be confident that you are wearing a timepiece unlike any other man.
This model also has an excellent rating among wearers, which is a huge plus.
