This 42mm timepiece is a beautiful 6-hand Chronograph with additional subdials that keep track of time from relative time, the date, the hour, the minute, and the second. The 42mm case is built using a solid stainless steel with a fixed stainless steel bezel to match, hardened mineral dial window, and complementing Rose Gold Stainless Steel applied hour indexes, main skeletal dial hands, and the three sub dial hands.

Power Source
This Nixon uses a Miyota Japanese Quartz 6-Hand Chronograph movement. This powers the 24 hour subdial, Chronograph, date placement (at 4 o’clock), and is considered one of the best Quartz movements on the market.
The Good
After the excellent Miyota Japanese Quartz movement, this timepiece, the other great feature is it’s water resistance. With a 100 meter (10 ATM) water resistance, you certainly don’t have to worry about getting this timepiece wet or ruined in shallow water, while showering, or an accidental drop in water.
However, this watch has an excellent Gray Alligator leather strap that is 21mm wide. You won’t want to get beautiful strap wet. However, you can easily switch out this strap with a rubber strap for use in the water or around boats, etc…
The dial is beautiful and features a combination of white minute/second markings around the outer rim, Rose Gold-tone indexes, Rose Gold-tone subdial hands, Rose Gold-tone main dial hands, and a calendar date window sitting diagonally at the 4 o’clock position.
The Bad
This Nixon does not have any real negative aspects to it that have been reported. It is not recommended that you wear this watch while submerged under water. Water resistance is not necessarily water proof up to 100 meters.
Functionality
This timepiece is fully functional and features quality materials. With Alligator leather making up a beautiful gray strap, the design of the black dial and stainless steel case and bezel looks masculine and warm.
The applied indexes are Rose Gold-tone and mark the hours in style. The dial hands are Rose Gold-tone as are the subdials. The calendar window will tell you the day of the month and the Chronograph function is complete with two push buttons on either side of the crown on the right hand side of the stainless steel case.

Highlights
The design is absolutely stunning with the black dial that perfectly complements the gray Alligator leather strap. The 42mm stainless steel case and bezel is custom made and the hour indexes are a Rose Gold-tone; as are the skeleton hour and minute dials, the subdials, and the thin second hand.
The Miyota Quartz movement is one of the best Quartz movements in the world.
